1. Scope of Work
This quote covers only the selected services listed above. Any additional features, pages, or systems not included here are considered out of scope and will require a new or amended quote.
2. Pricing & Payment
All prices are in CAD and exclude HST/GST (13%). A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before work begins, with the balance due before the site goes live. This quote is valid for 30 days from the date issued.
3. Hosting & Domain
Pacific IT Managed Hosting is a $15/mo managed service fee (not a direct Hostinger plan). A $75 migration fee applies to transfer an existing site to our hosting. Domain registration (~$15/yr) is billed separately. If you choose to use your own hosting, Pacific IT Services is not responsible for the site post-deployment. SSL is included with managed hosting only.
4. Maintenance
Without a maintenance retainer, Pacific IT Services has no obligation to maintain the site after launch; ad-hoc work is billed hourly. With a retainer, you receive monthly updates, backups, uptime monitoring, and 1 hour of edits per month (no rollover, no redesigns). Retainers may be cancelled with 30 days notice. Hacked or compromised sites are not covered under any retainer.
5. Photography
For client-provided photos, the client is responsible for ensuring proper copyright/licensing. The Pacific IT photoshoot is a $250 half-day session with editing included; prop costs are the client's responsibility, and cancellations within 48 hours incur a $75 fee. Stock photography licensing is the client's responsibility.
6. Revisions
Two rounds of revisions are included; additional revisions are billed at $75/hr. Clients have 7 days to review each project milestone — no response within that window is considered approval.
7. Timeline
Work begins after the deposit is paid and content/access are provided. Standard turnaround is 4–6 weeks. Pacific IT Services is not responsible for delays caused by third parties.
8. Intellectual Property
The client owns all deliverables upon final payment. Pacific IT Services may display completed work in its portfolio. Renewal of third-party plugins/licenses is the client's responsibility.
9. Liability
Pacific IT Services is not liable for lost revenue, downtime, hacking, or data loss. Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid by the client.
10. Acceptance
Submission of this form together with payment of the deposit constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
